So, I recently subscribed to Birchbox and I thought I would let you all know about a new offer that I just found. It's a really good deal!

St. Tropez Bronzing Mousse Review

The St. Tropez brand is probably the most popular range of self tanning products on the market. So when I was invited to go out the next evening, I thought this product would ensure I ended up with a streak free and nicely bronzed appearance overnight. Now this mousse did work, but I wouldn't say the end result was exactly simple and stress free, nor would I say that this product lived up to my expectations.

Sleek Makeup

I was standing in the drugstore having one of those moments where I’ve got two identical products and I can’t decide which to get. One was expensive but better reviewed and the other considerably cheaper but not well known. I decided to give Sleek, the cheaper option, a go and it wasn't a bad choice.

To Smoke or Not to Smoke!

Everyone loves a smokey eye right? Well at least I do and it took me long enough to master it! (Note to others struggling, it's all in the brushes! But, thats for another post!)

Now this probably seems like I’m overloading you with NYX product reviews….I did have a bit of a spree on their website not long ago and I figured if I put all of the reviews in one blog post, it would just be way too long.

So this is the final item (until I buy more), I promise! When I spotted this I had to have it, it was one of those items where you don’t even look at the price it just goes in your basket...you’ll deal with the consequences of irresponsible purchasing later.

Oh So Natural!

I wasn’t particularly looking to buy a new set of lip-glosses when I was doing some shopping on the NYX website, but then I came across the Natural Lip Gloss Set for £10 and temptation won.

Shea Butter Hair Mask Update

I finally got round to using one of my June Birchbox samples today, as I had time to wash my hair twice if needed.

I wanted to love you: NYX Diamond Sparkle Lipstick

NYX lipsticks have been raved about by beauty bloggers and I was really intrigued to see if they were as good as everyone said. My fascination got the better of me when I saw a few lines were reduced so I opted for two shades – Sparking Nude and Sparkling Flamingo.

July 2014 Glossybox Review

The final box to arrive this month (well until I get round to ordering Wantable). I was so impressed from Glossybox's attempt last month that I couldn't wait for this one to arrive, especially as I knew that it was a stars and stripe theme to celebrate the 4th of July.

July 2014 Birchbox Review

The second Birchbox has arrived. This box has gone back to the standard packaging from what I can tell and as we all know I do enjoy these little pouches, so I'm glad the samples have come in one. I have to say that I am slightly more impressed with this month over last month, so lets get started.

June 2014 Glossybox Review

I had already signed up to Birchbox every month and I wasn't going to join anymore subscriptions because I wanted to try them one at a time and then pick my favourite. Well that didn't work very well as no sooner had I just received my first Birchbox in the post, I saw that Glossybox had a 24 hour deal on. This deal was that if you signed up within the next day and entered a code at checkout you would get a box worth £30 for free along with the June box. Of course I had to purchase this deal, £13 for two boxes was a bargain!!

June 2014 Birchbox Review

I guess my first post should be about the unoriginal and fairly common beauty blog topic - beauty box subscriptions. I have signed up for two; Birchbox and Glossybox! I also have my eye on the American Wantable box and will be giving that a go in the not so distant future (I get paid in 2 weeks).

I have to say I signed up to Birchbox because they had the Beauty Blender and I did want to give it a try. I also really like the little pouches that the samples come in because I think they're handy for storing different make up items together in my drawers, it makes my life so much easier if everything is in one place in the morning. The reward points that you can collect towards £10 off in the Birchbox shop were another reason why I decided to give this subscription a go. I may not like every sample they send me but at least I can get some money towards a product I will actually want to use in the future.

I entered a code for free delivery on the first box and waited for it to arrive. A few days later it was here and I was excited to see what I got. Whilst I was disappointed not to receive the Beauty Blender, I was still pretty happy with everything I got. I have tried out a few of the items already and will put reviews up when I have got round to using the other products. Here is a run down of my the items.
